Description
Cream Ale is a classic American beer style that acts as a hybrid between an ale and a lager, created by ale brewers in the 1800s to compete with popular light lagers. It is a pale, light-bodied, and highly carbonated beer with exceptional smoothness, clean taste, and refreshing finish. With very low hop bitterness and a balanced malt profile, it is an extremely easy-drinking and flavorful session beer.
Collaboration Mission
"Hasta La Raíz is more than a beer and beverage collaboration, it’s a movement rooted in solidarity, culture, and collective resistance.
Founded by Jessica Salas, a longtime beer industry veteran and the daughter and granddaughter of immigrants, Hasta La Raíz brings together breweries across the country to raise awareness and funds for immigrant justice. In partnership with Freedom for Immigrants, this project supports efforts to end immigration detention, reunite families, and protect the dignity and humanity of people seeking a better life.
At a time when mass deportation and anti-immigrant policies continue to harm communities, Hasta La Raíz is a call to action for those who believe in brewing with purpose. The name means “to the root” in Spanish—a reminder to stay grounded in who we are, where we come from, and what we stand for. Through beer, community, and shared values, we aim to spark conversations, uplift stories, and help build a more just future.
We are proud to work with breweries, beverage makers, and community spaces willing to take a stand loudly and publicly for compassion over criminalization, for freedom over fear."
